Analog and Digital point export

Rachelle,

 

I have a question. How do you export a complete list of all analog and digital points in a Delta V system? This will need to export into a csv file or an excel spreadsheet.

  First, so we are speaking the same language...when you refer to "points", is this the IO landing location (DST), Control modules in the system or both?

  Second, What are you utimately going to do with the csv/spreadsheet?

  • There might be something in the product to give you the list depending on what you are wanting to do with the information.

  Third, How big is your system and what DeltaV version is it?

  • number of controllers will suffice I think
