We have DP flowmeter installed on hydrogen compressor suction line with Venturi-Welded flow element and 3051 DP XMTR.
The range of flow element as below:-
max Flow Rate: 30000 nm3/h
max Diff. Pressure: 1500 mm/H2o
Same parameters used in flow transmitter and control system but unfortunately after start-up we found this range is not enough for the process and the transmitter went over range before full load.
My question can we increase the flow rate to 40000 and max diff pressure to 2000 from flow transmitter and control system without changing the flow element and get correct reading?
