How to Open quickpanel plus project from backup taken from HMI unit ?

Hi
We have a 15inch quickpanel plus IC755CxS15Cxx with our client. We have copied the project from the runtime directory of the HMI (using USB key connected to HMI port) and then into the laptop having proficy machine edition .(version 9.5)
Now we want to make changes in the project (adding few tags and screen changes).

Please advise how to open this project in the proficy machine edition? as i need to know the path from where to open this project.

    What type of file did you pull off the Quickpanel? As long as the Quickpanel parameter "Project Recovery" was set to "Update On Going Offline" or "Update On Every Change", there should be a backup of the project on the Quickpanel. That file would be a .zip file. I've never tried to recover the backup in the way you are describing, in the past I have been able to go on-line with the Quickpanel and upload from it, and it would give the option of "Open as New Project" or "Replace Existing Project". If you did find the backup file, you should be able to "restore" it in Proficy by right clicking on "My Computer" and selecting "Restore".
