DeltaV 13.3.1 mixed operating system inquiry

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could clear up an operating system question for DeltaV version 13.3.1.

Have installed 13.3.1 on my new Dell Servers R730s that have Windows Sever 2016 that is going to replace some old PCs in the future.

May have some software on my Application Station that may not supported by 2016.

I see a note in the Release notes that states...

1.2.1 Supported Operating Systems

DeltaV v13.3.1 English and Russian Localized Language software supports:

 Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 64-bit

 Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (64-bit Standard/Enterprise Edition)

or

 Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB Version 1607

 Windows Server 2016 Standard Embedded

Mixed operating systems are not supported except when upgrading from Win7/Server 2008 R2 to Win10/Server 2016.

Am I able to run Server 2016 on the ProPlus, and 3 otherTerminal Servers with AS running Server 2008 R2?

Or is it only Wind7/ 08r2 OR Wind10/2016
