Serial Card - Information

Hi,

I am using Emerson Serial Card VE4006P2.

It has 2 ports and Each port contains four DS. (DS01,DS02,DS03,DS04)

It means one port  can get data from 4 devices ?

How many address I can fetch from one device?

  Each port can contain upto 16 devices (if configured with 1 dataset each), any combination of devices with a max 16 datasets per port is allowed.
  
  A dataset isn't a device, you configure the device first (this is where you set the Modbus node address), then you configure datasets under the device. Datasets can contain upto 100 registers (50 if floating point), so per port 16 datasets x 100 registers (integers) giving a potential total of 1600 registers.
