I am trying to use UCMM with a Falcon controller on a Cleaverbrooks boiler. It's actually talking to a Protoair gateway from FieldServer. The profiles come configured with ethernet/IP and data array tags. However, in the PK controller when using UCMM with tags, it asks for rack and slot number. I don't actually have a PLC, so IDK if this is why it's not working. The company i'm working with was only able to give me information from some rando on how to connect an allen bradley PLC to the Protoair by setting up unconnected message blocks. But, of course, setting up the logical device in DeltaV is a separate beast. I'm really not sure where to begin. I know the data is being communicated because I have the protocol transmitting and can see the information in the web interface. I set up a generic Class 1 LDT just guessing at some instance numbers and have data coming across, of course I don't know what the data is. I've only been given the tag names.
I reached out to these 3rd parties and am waiting for anyone to be useful. So far no luck.
Can UCMM in PK be used if it's not a PLC? If so, is the rack and slot number a problem??
